Plenty of fans were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Dimps managed to produce a game that allowed you to create your own powerful hero and correct the course of Dragon Ball’s history.
It should come as no surprise that a sequel is finally making its way over to our timeline. This much-anticipated successor is going big…like, real big. New characters, new customizations, new stages, new missions and a much larger hub world to explore make up the entirety of what this fighter offers. Bandai Namco and Dimps are ready to transport us back into a world full of Super Saiyans and formidable warriors of other races to create on our own.
To get you ready for what Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, we’re here with a guide on every facet of the game you need to know.
1. This Time Around, You’ll Be Able to Explore a New Hub World Called Conton City
Xenoverse 2 will take you to a new explorable location that’s 7-times larger than the 1st’s games Toki Toki City. This new hub location (Conton City) can enclose 300 online players simultaneously all on one server. You can take your custom hero all over this city and undertake all types of quests, participate in various offline/online fights, go shopping, train, __play minigames and chat it up with other characters. You’ll not only be able to traverse around on foot in Conton City, you’ll also be able to finally fly around certain sections of the city. Conton City isn’t the only location you can explore; your Time Patroller can explore familiar areas such as Frieza’s Spaceship, Buu’s House, Guru’s House, Capsule Corp etc.
On the playable stage front, these are the famous landmarks that have been confirmed for play:

2. Character Customization Makes Its Return
The main element that made the 1st Xenoverse such a hit was the fact that it let you create your own Time Patroller. Thankfully, that mechanic is being featured prominently once again. What makes this character creation factor so much better is the opportunity to power up your fighter to new levels and develop new forms. And are you worried about the 1st Future Warrior you created in the prior release? Just know that you’ll be able to import that character from the original game and have them __play a major part in the story behind Xenoverse 2.

3. More Familiar Good and Evil Characters From the Anime are Being Added in
Just like the last game, a slew of villains from Dragon Ball’s sagas and films reared their ugly heads in order to disrupt the anime’s most important events. Xenoverse 2 features a couple of new additions on its roster who have the same goal in mind. There’s even a baddie from the brand new series (Dragon Ball Super) who pops up to do some damage.
